A good vendor can sometimes schedule you into an existing slot without blowing up their schedule—but they need to trust you'll be a reliable partner long-term.

The Hidden Cost of 'Cheap' Rush

Our company lost a $120,000 contract back in 2021 because we tried to save $400 on a rush CNC job. We went with a discount vendor that promised 48-hour turnaround. If ground shipping is too slow, we have a standing account with an overnight courier. It's not elaborate—just written down and available to anyone on the team.

Boundary Conditions: When This Doesn't Apply
